Summers Of Love
A personal odyssey through the '60's, featuring pictures of L.A., Haight-Ashbury, Northern California, and Taos, New Mexico, 1967-1972. This photograph, "Feeling The Spirit," was made in Haight-Ashbury in 1967 during one of many concerts that were held that summer. Contrary to what the media portrayed, only a fraction of the people who passed through the Haight that summer were prototypical "Hippies." Most were as you see here--a cross section of middle America. Scroll to the end of this category if you would like to buy this image.
