All prints currently offered for sale on this website are made at the Barry Norris Studio which specializes in making fine art prints for artists and photographers. Prints are made with an Epson 9800 printer using Epson K3 Ultrachrome pigmented inks and are printed on Crane Museo and/or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag fine art papers. These prints are true archival images with an average life of 100-200 years when displayed under glass in a standard home environment out of direct sunlight. Pigmented inks are truer and more stable than any available traditional color print process.

Prints are made from scans of original films. The majority of these images were made on transparency film. Films commonly used were either Kodachrome, Ektachrome, or Agfachrome 35 mm slide films. 4x5 color images were on either Kodak Ektachrome or Fuji Provia films. More recent color images were done using either Fuji Astia transparency or Fuji Reala color negative medium format (120) films. Additionally, some recent images have been made on 35mm Fuji Reala color negative film.

Prices shown on this website are for unmounted prints. Prints should be mounted on and over-matted with 4-ply museum rag board to ensure maximum permanence. Matting and mounting are available at an additional charge. Call or email for a quote on the price of these additional services.

It should be noted that image sizes are based on the rectangular proportions of 35 mm film. Prints made from 4x5 and the recent 645 medium format proportions will be more square, but will have an image area comparable to the listed sizes. All images represent the full frame of the original film.
